OVERVIEW

LaunchPad is an Employee Onboarding app for new hires. This app is provided by a company to their new employees to aid them in a smooth and hassle-free Onboarding process.

It is a consolidated platform wherein all necessary information such as Job Offer Documents, Travel needs, Company Culture, Housing, etc., are available in a single place before starting a new job in a new place.

Understanding the Problem

Context

New employees who need relocation face many problems like Finding accommodation, Knowing the new company and its culture, Managing moving expenses, Figuring out transportation, making new friends, etc. 

There are few apps that help the New hires in a few of these aspects but there's no source of truth. Following are a few resources that fulfill the mentioned pain points.

Finding a new house: Magic Bricks, Housing.com, 99 acres, Local Brokers, Friends and Family, etc.

Knowing the Culture: Google, Knowledge from Friends and Family, etc.

Moving Expenses: Bills emailed or given by hand to the HR Executive.

Transportation: Flight tickets mailed by HR, Taxi booking apps like Uber, Ola, etc.
